I recognize that only in You can I find the true happiness my soul desires. No pleasure of this world can satisfy me as You do, and no success or comfort can replace the peace that comes from knowing You.
Do not allow my heart to forget You when life is easy, and do not let me drift from You when life becomes difficult. Keep my thoughts anchored in You and my choices guided by Your will.
Help me to seek nothing apart from You — not comfort without You, not success without You, and not peace that does not come from Your hand. Teach me to desire what is eternal more than what is temporary, and to measure my life by what leads me closer to You.
Remind me each day that You are my true treasure, my lasting joy, and the only happiness that does not fade. Draw my mind back to You when I become distracted, my will back to You when I become weak, and my love back to You when I become divided.
Let my life after this point be shaped by You, strengthened by You, and lived for You.
Amen.
